Version 3.0.2 makes the PowerRadar app easier to get around and more dependable day to day. What's New
Easier to Find Your Sites
What changed
Until now, an account's screen had two tabs - Sites and Energy Insights - that listed the same sites with different details. You had to switch between them to see the full picture.
In 3.0.2, the two tabs are combined into one list, the same way the account page already works in PowerRadar on the web. Each site row now shows everything at once:
- Package - Optimize or Visualize
- Facility type - the kind of building or facility
- Managed power - the power PowerRadar monitors at the site, in kW
- Sensors - the number of sensors installed at the site
- Bridges - the number of bridges installed at the site
Why it matters
You can compare sites and spot the one you need without jumping between tabs.
To find a site quickly:
- Open an account. The top of the list shows how many sites you're seeing, for example Showing 12 out of 12 Sites.
- Type part of a site name in Search sites. The list filters as you type, and the count updates.
- Tap the sort icon and choose Name, Package, Managed Power, Sensors or Bridges. Tap the same option again to reverse the order.
- Tap a site to open its dashboard.
Tip: Pull down on the list at any time to refresh it.

A Fresh Look
What changed
- New opening animation - When you open the app, circuit lines draw in on an orange background and form the Panoramic Power logo. If the app is still getting ready when the animation ends, the logo stays on screen until everything is loaded, so you go straight to a ready home screen instead of a spinner.
- New loading screens - Throughout the app, the old spinners are replaced with an animated Panoramic Power logo. Full screens also show a short message that tells you what's loading, such as Loading the account list, Loading the site list or Loading the alert list.
- Matches your theme - The new loader adapts to the theme you use, so it's easy to see in both Light and Dark mode.
Why it matters
You always know the app is working and what it's loading, with a cleaner, consistent look on every screen.
Tip: If Reduce Motion (iOS) or Remove animations (Android) is turned on in your phone's settings, the app shows the finished logo without the animation.

More Reliable
What changed
Previously, the app could sign you out whenever it briefly lost touch with PowerRadar - for example, when you lost signal, switched networks or the connection timed out. You then had to sign in again.
In 3.0.2, you stay signed in through these short interruptions. The app only signs you out when your session has really ended.
If the app can't reach PowerRadar when you open it, you'll see a screen with a Retry button instead of the sign-in screen. Once you're back online, tap Retry and the app opens on your home screen - no need to sign in again.
Why it matters
Checking your sites on the go - in a basement plant room, on the road or on a weak signal - no longer means signing in over and over.
Note: You'll still be signed out if your session actually ends, for example if your password is changed or an administrator ends your session.

Fixes
We fixed the following issues in this release:
Your chosen dashboard stays selected when you go back to a site, and you can always switch dashboards. Previously, if you picked a different dashboard, left the site and came back, the dashboard options could disappear. Your selection is now kept, and the dashboard picker is always available.
Shared alert links open correctly, and tapping a notification opens the right alert. The share link on an alert now opens that alert's page on the web, and the share options open every time on both iOS and Android. After you open the app from a push notification, the app no longer jumps back to that same alert later - for example, when you open another site.
Opening a site from a different account works. Users with access to more than one account could see "Oops, something went wrong" when opening a site in a different account from the one they visited last. Sites from any of your accounts now open as expected.
Time View: long device lists and the chart legend scroll all the way down, and a crash when touching an empty chart is fixed. On sites with many devices, you can now scroll to the very last device in the Devices list and select it - including on Android phones, where the last rows used to sit under the navigation bar. The chart legend now also scrolls to the end, and touching a chart with no data no longer closes the app.
Partner account lists sort correctly by managed load. Sorting a partner's account list by managed load used to show "Oops, something went wrong". The list now sorts as expected.
The app keeps your light or dark theme after an update. After an app update, some screens could turn dark under a light header, and choosing Light again could leave the app stuck on a white screen. The app now keeps the theme you chose, and switching between Light, Dark and System updates the whole app at once.
