Table of Contents
This release rebuilds Triggers and Alerts from the ground up, fixes several trigger issues reported by customers, brings lists across PowerRadar onto one consistent table, and gives the device trees in Manual Export, Dashboards, Benchmarking and TimeView the same look and behavior.
Triggers: A Redesigned Way to Build and Manage Alerts
What changed
Every Triggers screen has been rebuilt.
The Triggers lobby
- Filters now sit at the top of the list, so you can narrow down triggers before you scroll.
- Each trigger card shows who created it and when.
- Triggers that use a specific schedule now show that schedule's name on the card.
- Searching for a trigger is faster.
Creating and editing a trigger

- Creating or editing a trigger now opens in a full-screen editor, with more room for conditions, devices and recipients.
- Each trigger type (Devices, Site, Meters, Bridges and Maintenance) has a rebuilt condition builder. Every type now uses the same layout for Above / Below / Between, the threshold value (with its unit inside the field), "For more than" and "During".
- The device picker now uses the same device tree as TimeView, so selecting devices works the way you already know. Meters now appear in the tree as expected.
- A new trigger starts with a default event label, so you no longer have to fill it in before saving.
- Saving a trigger now makes it clear whether you saved a draft or are about to activate it.
- Switching between trigger types while creating a trigger no longer offers options that don't apply to the new type.
Recipients
- When you add a recipient, the search box is focused right away so you can start typing.
- Users with a pending invite are marked in the recipients list.
Alerts and notifications
- "Mark all as read" now works on every tab, including All.
- The notifications filter works again, and the "Open" status no longer appears twice in the status filter.
- Opening an alert or a trigger from the alerts panel, or switching the panel to full screen, no longer reloads the whole app.
- Acknowledge and Mark all are disabled while the request is processing, so a double-click can't send it twice.
Permissions
- Read-only users now see trigger fields, including maintenance conditions, as read-only. Previously some fields looked editable.
Why it matters
Triggers are how you find out that a device is running above its limit, outside its hours, or offline. The old screens were cramped, and some parts behaved differently depending on the trigger type. The new editor gives every trigger type the same layout and the same device tree as TimeView, and the lobby shows who owns each trigger at a glance.
Tables: One Consistent Table Across PowerRadar

What changed
Lists across PowerRadar now share one table design. This includes the Home list, users and invites, reports, exports, bridges and loggers, events, utility tariffs and partner pages. Every table now works the same way:
- Search, sort and column visibility sit in the same place in every table, and search supports more ways to match what you type.
- Column widths are set consistently, so names and values are no longer cut off unpredictably.
- Dates and times in lists now show in the correct time zone.
- Loading, empty and error states look and behave the same everywhere.
- Creating an export or a report now opens in a full-screen form.
- Confirmation prompts on a row (for example, before deleting) now close with the Escape key.
- Clearer messages when inviting a user or deleting an account or site fails, so you know what went wrong.
Why it matters
Before this release, each list in PowerRadar had its own controls and its own quirks, so learning one didn't help with the next. Now the search box, filters and column settings work the same way on every list.
Device Trees: The Same Tree Everywhere

What changed
The device tree from TimeView now appears in more places:
- Manual Export uses the new tree, with more tree types to choose from.
- Dashboards use the new tree when you pick devices or categories for a widget.
- Benchmarking uses the new tree, and you can now benchmark a whole site alongside individual devices.
- Energy Flow now opens on your current site directly, instead of asking you to pick a site from a separate panel.
In TimeView, each branch of the tree now shows how many devices are selected inside it, with a bold label, even when the branch is collapsed. Sensor type groupings also show a count on every tree that offers them. Zone and panel trees stay visible even when they have no devices under them.
Why it matters
You no longer have to re-learn device selection on each screen. And in TimeView, you can see where your selected devices are without expanding every branch.
Smaller Improvements
- Tooltips are back across the app. Some detailed tooltips were showing up empty or not at all. They now show their full content.
- Signing in from a link now takes you to the page the link pointed to, including any filters in it.
Bug Fixes
Fixes for issues you reported
- "Total power" triggers now add up all selected devices. A trigger set on the Total Power of several devices checked each device on its own instead of their combined power, so it could miss an alert.
- Removed users no longer get trigger alerts. When a user is removed from an account, they are now also removed as a recipient from its triggers.
- Auto Export no longer adds an extra empty row. Scheduled exports with zero padding turned on were adding a row of zeros on every run.
Triggers and alerts
- The device-name tooltip now updates after you edit a trigger's device list.
- An existing device trigger can now be opened for editing even after all of the site's sensors were uninstalled.
- Units are no longer cut off when a condition uses "Between".
- "Select timeframe" is no longer cut off.
- Switching between trigger types while creating a trigger no longer causes errors.
- The "Created by" field now updates correctly when a trigger's condition is edited.
- A note is now kept when you save and close a trigger, even if you hadn't saved the note separately.
- The cursor no longer jumps while you type a trigger note.
- Activating a trigger now checks that it's complete before activating it.
- Choosing an option in the dialog that opens when you click Back now closes the dialog.
- Closing bridge settings no longer refreshes the page.
- Opening a utility tariff from a trigger no longer sometimes shows "Oops! Something went wrong."
Other fixes
- TimeView counter add-on at "Last 12 months". The counter add-on no longer disappears when you select the Last 12 months range.
- Tree expand and collapse works correctly for sensors and meters.
