What It Shows

What is it?

The Real-Time Meters & Sensors Data widget shows a live reading from a non-electric meter or sensor you choose - flow, temperature, pressure, gas, heat, and similar - the same kind of live gauge the Real-Time Power widget gives you for electric power, but for any other meter on your site.

Why use it?

• Keep a live pulse on a specific non-electric meter without opening a separate report.
• See a Last 24 hours / Last 7 days / Last 30 days summary alongside the live reading.
• Focus a dashboard box on exactly the meter type that matters for this site.

Adding This Widget

In the Add widget picker, this widget's card is labeled "Real-time meters & sensors data" ("See real-time readings of meters and sensors, (e.g. flow, temperature, pressure, etc.)"). Once added, the widget's own title reads "Real time non-electric meters data." Real-Time Meters & Sensors Data is a Small widget - it takes up 1 box on your dashboard page. Connecting a Meter

Unlike most widgets, this one doesn't work out of the box - it has to be pointed at a specific meter. Until you add one, both the Add widget preview and the widget itself show: “This widget is not associated with any meter. Update widget preferences or remove this widget”

Click + Add meters in the preferences panel to open the Select meters side panel. Meters are listed in a tree under your site, grouped by category (for example Gas and Heat) - each meter shows its unit (for example m³ or kWh) and its connection type (for example Digital Pulse). Check one to select it.

Note: You can select more than one meter, but only from the same group. Trying to mix meters from different groups (for example one Gas meter and one Heat meter) shows an error: "The selected meters belong to different groups. Please select meters of the same group."

Settings

Configure these in the Real time non-electric meters data preferences window - Step 2 of adding the widget:

Show summary

A toggle, on by default, adding a Summary panel with Last 24 hours, Last 7 days, and Last 30 days totals in the meter's own unit.

Show trend

A toggle, on by default, adding a trend arrow and percentage to each line in the Summary panel.

Meters are

The meter-selection control described above - required. The Add to dashboard button won't complete until at least one meter is selected.

Reading the Widget

Once a meter is selected and placed on your dashboard, the widget shows:

• The meter's name as a tag next to the widget title (for example Gas Sintesi).
• A "Measurement time" timestamp for the reading.
• A gauge with the current reading in large type, scaled between 0 and a calculated maximum in the meter's unit (for example 0 to 32.3 m³/h).
• If Show summary is on, a Summary panel beside the gauge with Last 24 hours, Last 7 days, and Last 30 days totals.
• If Show trend is on, each summary line also gets a trend arrow and percentage.

Things to Know

• A meter is required. This widget can't be added without selecting at least one meter - there's no site-wide default the way "Site Total" works for power widgets.
• Multi-select is limited to one group at a time. If you need to show meters from different categories, add separate widgets.
