The New Time View  - Tabs & Presets

The new TimeView now supports tabs and presets, so you can work with multiple analysis views at the same time—and save any view to reuse or share later.

Why it matters

  • Faster workflow: Stop rebuilding the same device + time range + chart setup again and again.
  • Better comparisons: Keep multiple contexts open and switch between them instantly.
  • Team consistency: Save standard views as shared (site) presets and optionally set defaults.

How to use it

Open multiple views with tabs

  1. Click + to open a new tab (a fresh “New view”).
  2. Switch tabs to move between different configurations.
  3. Close a tab with ×. If there are unsaved changes, you’ll be prompted to Save and close / Close without saving / Cancel.

Save a view as a preset

  1. Click Save preset.
  1. Give it a name (optional description).
  2. Choose visibility: Private (just you) or Share with team (site preset, if permitted).
  3. Optional: set as my default preset (and site default if allowed).

Load and manage presets

  1. Open the Presets panel to search and load saved presets.
  2. If you changed a loaded preset, the tab shows a modified indicator (•)—use Update preset to save changes.

What a preset remembers

Your selected devices/meters, time range, filters, chart type, and other view settings—so you can restore the exact same analysis in one click.
