More PAN-42 Metrics in TimeView Pro Energy (kWh) - Direct from PAN-42 Sensors RSSI - Sensor Signal Strength A More Polished Experience Manual Export - Now Covers the New Metrics Bug Fixes & Reliability Improvements

More PAN-42 Metrics in TimeView Pro

We're continuing to bring the rich electrical data captured by PAN-42 sensors into the new TimeView Pro experience. Two more measurement types are now available directly in the chart, alongside the metrics introduced in earlier releases.

Energy (kWh) - Direct from PAN-42 Sensors

For PAN-42 devices, the Energy (kWh) measurement type in TimeView Pro now reflects the Consumed Active Energy value reported directly by the sensor, instead of a calculated value derived from other readings.

This means more accurate energy data for PAN-42 sites, and brings the new TimeView Pro into alignment with the legacy TimeView — so the same device, period, and view will now show consistent numbers across both.

RSSI - Sensor Signal Strength

RSSI (signal strength, in dBm) is now available as a sensor-level diagnostic in TimeView Pro. This gives you a quick way to see how well a sensor is communicating, helping you spot connectivity issues without leaving the chart.

A More Polished Experience

Both new metrics come with the same depth as the rest of TimeView Pro:

  • Proper sub-options and rendering for the new measurement types, so the chart, legend, and tooltips behave consistently with everything else in TimeView Pro.
  • Data Quality indicators are surfaced on the chart, so you always know when a data point is partial, estimated, or missing.
  • UX refinements across the new metrics flow based on field feedback - small but meaningful improvements to selection, display, and chart interactions.

Manual Export - Now Covers the New Metrics

The Manual Export flow has been extended so you can pull the same PAN-42 data offline that you can chart in TimeView Pro.

  • New measurement types supported - Consumed Active Energy, RSSI, and the other PAN-42 metrics introduced in earlier releases are now available in Manual Export.
  • Frequency selection - When exporting these metrics, you can choose the frequency that fits your analysis.
  • Updated icons and descriptions - Each measurement type has clearer labels and icons in the Manual Export list, making it easier to pick the right data at a glance.

Bug Fixes & Reliability Improvements

A large batch of fixes landed in this release, focused on data accuracy, units, and error handling around PAN-42 metrics.

  • Consumed Active Energy consistency - Weekly Consumed Active Energy values in TimeView Pro now match the legacy TimeView exactly.
  • Power Factor consistency - Resolved a discrepancy where Power Factor data could differ between the new and legacy TimeView. Both views now align.
  • Correct units across metrics - Apparent Power and Power Factor now display their units correctly on the chart and in tooltips.
  • Frequency selector for PAN-42 - The frequency selector now correctly offers PAN-42 as an option.
  • Multi-day frequency requests - Calendar requests for frequency data over more than one day no longer return an Error 400.
  • RSSI chart rendering - RSSI no longer expands incorrectly in the chart.
  • RSSI Manual Export - Creating a Manual Export for RSSI on a device no longer returns an Error 403.
  • RSSI label casing - The Manual Export table now displays "RSSI" with correct casing.
  • Manual Export icons - Corrected the icon color for entries in the Manual Export list.
  • Reliable automated exports - Automated Manual Exports no longer fail when duplicate file names are involved.
  • Empty-chart message - When a chart has no data to display, the description message is now visible to users so the empty state is clear.
