What It Shows

What is it?

The Last 7 days widget is a week-over-week view of your site's energy consumption - a chart plus the total consumed and its cost - so you can spot trends and efficiency opportunities without opening TimeView.

Why use it?

• See a full week of consumption at a glance, right on your dashboard.
• Hover any point on the chart for the exact reading at that moment.
• Track energy cost for the period alongside the consumption trend.

Adding This Widget

In the Add widget picker, this widget's card is labeled "Last 7 days" ("Easily track the power consumption of the last 7 days"). For the full two-step add flow and the box-cap counter, see Adding Widgets to Your Dashboard - and Sharing It.

Settings

Configure these in the Last 7 days preferences window - Step 2 of adding the widget:

Calculate the consumption of

A dropdown that sets the scope of the chart: Site Total (default), Devices, Groups, or Categories.

Show trends

A toggle, on by default, adding a trend arrow and percentage next to the Consumed total (for example 98.9 MWh ↗18.7%). Turned off, the widget shows the total on its own with no comparison.

Note: The Live data preview on the right updates as you change these settings, so you can see the effect before adding the widget to your dashboard.

Reading the Widget

Once placed on your dashboard, the widget shows:

• The widget's scope as a tag next to its title - for example Site Total.
• An Off-hours toggle next to the scope, letting you shade off-hours periods on the chart.
• A 7-day area chart, labeled by day (for example Fri through Thu), plotting your consumption over the week.
• Hovering any point on the chart shows a tooltip with the exact date/time and both the Consumption and Generation readings at that moment - so the chart accounts for bidirectional (export) activity even though the main line only plots consumption. 
• A Consumed total for the period (in MWh), with a trend arrow and percentage if Show trends is on.
• An Energy cost figure for the period.

Things to Know

• The chart tracks Generation too, even though it isn't plotted as its own line. The hover tooltip always includes a Generation value alongside Consumption - worth knowing if your site has bidirectional (PAN-42) sensors.
• Off-hours is a display toggle on the widget itself, not a Step 2 preference - you'll find it next to the scope tag once the widget is on your dashboard.
