Why do I not receive push notifications? When I try to enable push notifications, the app keeps spinning and switches off again.
This behavior usually happens when the system-level notification permission was dismissed the first time the app was opened.
When that initial pop-up (“Allow Panoramic Power to send notifications?”) is declined or swiped away, Android blocks the app from enabling notifications internally. The app then appears to toggle the setting, but the operating system overrides it, turning it off again.
To restore push notifications, you need to re-enable them directly from the device settings.
Explanation
It looks like the push notification permission was dismissed the first time the app was opened. When this happens, the operating system blocks notifications for the app, and the toggle inside the app cannot turn them back on.
To fix this, notifications must be re-enabled from the device settings.
Android – how to re-enable notifications
1. Long-press the Panoramic Power app icon on your home screen.
2. Tap “App info”.
3. Tap “Notifications”.
4. Make sure “All Panoramic Power notifications” is turned ON.
5. (Optional) Toggle it off and then on again to refresh the setting.
After doing this, open the app again and you should start receiving push notifications normally.
iOS (general instructions)
1. Go to Settings › Panoramic Power.
2. Tap “Notifications”.
3. Turn on “Allow Notifications” and choose your desired alert style (Lock Screen, Banners, Sounds).
4. Then reopen the app and test a new notification.
